NSG is an independent utilization review company specializing in the
management of physical and occupational therapy for workers' compensation
injuries. NSG partners with our contracted therapy providers to coordinate
and oversee the delivery of skilled therapy through a non-contentious
utilization management model that is beneficial to patients, payors,
and participating therapy providers.
NSG is Different Than Other Networks
NSG refers patients under a condition rate reimbursement model.
A lump sum is made to providers to cover the skilled therapy needs
of injured workers for a referred condition or diagnosis. The case
rate reimbursement system encourages therapists to actively manage
the skilled therapy services delivered to individual patients.
