NSG Celebrates 15 Years of Thinking Differently!

2012 marks the 15th Anniversary of Network Synergy Group (NSG) and its innovative physical therapy management programs.  As we reflect back on the road that led us here, we are filled with a sense of awe and pride.

It all started back in May of 1997 when our founder, Ron Araujo, had a vision of pioneering a physical therapy management product that would benefit all facets of the workers’ compensation industry – the injured workers, the employers, the insurance companies, and the therapy providers. The existing fee-for-service model was broken.  Medical providers were rewarded for more services, not better services. NSG’s idea was simple – realign the financial incentives of the therapy providers to do the right thing, and reward them for providing better care, not more care.  This idea would grow into a unique concept known as NSG’s Condition Rate Program. This program matured into a highly successful tool to manage therapy treatment and costs and has spun off other complimentary therapy products that are now being utilized in more than 25 states across the country.

Since the company’s inception, NSG has built long-term, trusting relationships with our clients and has partnered with exceptional therapy providers across the country.  NSG’s vision and mission to create and sustain practices of respect, quality, accountability, and innovation, as well as our focus on results have shaped not only the way we do business, but our culture as well. Our success is a direct reflection of the commitment our associates put forth.

The employees of NSG are the organization’s most valuable asset, and we would not be where we are today without their hard work. It is their enthusiasm and commitment that keeps our business thriving. We have formed a workplace of professionalism and excitement, and this culture was a contributing factor in NSG receiving the prestigious award as a Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce: Small Business of the Year Finalist in 2010.

In 2010, NSG also caught the eye of GENEX Services, Inc., one of the nation’s leading providers for managed care solutions, resulting in a favorable acquisition. This would start a whole new journey for the organization. Although still doing business as Network Synergy Group, we are proud to be part of the GENEX suite of services.
