Network Synergy Group wishes all of the nurses that we work with a Happy Nurses Week!
Each year from May 6th – May 12th, the world recognizes nurses for their hard work and dedication towards their profession. These dates in May were chosen to also pay tribute to Florence Nightingale’s birthday, who many consider the founder of modern nursing. The celebratory theme for 2012 is "Nurses: Advocating, Leading, Caring."
This week of celebration draws attention to education and awareness about the profession and the roles nurses play throughout the healthcare field. These roles can include staff nurse, educator and nurse case manager, just to name a few. Nurses are caring, dedicated professionals who serve as advocates on behalf of their patients. It takes a special kind of person to be a nurse, and NSG appreciates the many nurses we partner with everyday to successfully manage patients’ care.
